This policy explains how Wireless Trace and its support website handle information. Product provider: Li Zhenqiang. Contact: 1191334812@qq.com.
2. Files you choose to import
The app reads a file only after you select it using the system file picker, to extract Wi-Fi-related records. Diagnostic archives may contain sensitive device information. Import only your own files or files for which you have explicit authorization.
Data processed locally includes network names, file names, import times and, where present in the source file, added dates, disconnection times and access-point association times. Fields may be missing. The app does not extract or store coordinates.
3. Local analysis and network transfers
Diagnostic archives are analyzed locally on your device. The app does not upload diagnostic archives, network records or results to us or third parties, create user accounts, use advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs, or sell this information.
The app does not read Wi-Fi passwords, scan nearby networks, request device location permission or integrate maps or AI analysis services.
4. In-app purchases
The app offers a consumable in-app purchase for a single wireless-record analysis. Apple's App Store services handle product information, payments and transaction verification. We do not read or store card numbers or other payment details. The app receives only transaction verification results and product identifiers to add local analysis credits.
A credit is deducted only after results are successfully saved; a failed analysis does not consume one. Unused credits are stored locally. Because this is a consumable product, unused credits cannot be restored after deleting the app or clearing local data.
5. Local storage and deletion
The app stores extracted Wi-Fi snapshots, file names, import times and related information in its own storage so you can review history. System file protection is enabled and these files are excluded from system backups. The app does not retain complete diagnostic archives as part of its history.
Records remain until you delete them or uninstall the app. Swipe left on a record on the home screen and confirm deletion to remove that local snapshot. Manage original files and copies saved elsewhere separately.
6. System file services
If you choose a file from iCloud Drive or another file provider, that service manages downloading and syncing under its own rules. This is separate from Wireless Trace's on-device analysis; Wireless Trace does not upload results to our servers as a consequence.
7. Website access and technical support
The product, support and privacy pages are hosted on a Tencent Cloud server. When you visit, the server may record your IP address, request time, page path and browser information in access and error logs for maintenance and security troubleshooting. This information is not linked to network snapshots in the app. The website has no advertising trackers or analytics scripts.
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and attachments to respond and resolve the issue. Prefer redacted error screenshots; do not send passwords or complete diagnostic archives.
8. Your choices
You can choose not to import files, cancel analysis, delete local snapshots or stop using the app. Because archives and results are not uploaded, we cannot remotely read, restore or delete this data on your device. You may request access to, correction of or deletion of email information you voluntarily provide to us.
9. Minors
This product is not specifically designed for children. Minors should use it with a guardian's guidance and must not provide or analyze other people's files without authorization.
10. Updates
We will update this policy and its date when features or data practices change. Significant data-handling changes will be communicated where appropriate. This explanation reflects the actual features of the current version.
