Find a network

Search Wi-Fi names and sort retained network records by the date they were added.

Understand each timestamp

View added, disconnection and access-point association times separately. Missing fields are clearly marked as not recorded.

Keep control of your data

Analysis runs on your device. Results are saved as local snapshots that you can review or delete.

Review wireless records in four steps

  1. Follow the in-app guide to generate a system diagnostic file and save it in Files.
  2. Choose New Analysis, confirm that you are authorized to use the file, and select the archive.
  3. After the file passes validation, purchase or use one analysis credit.
  4. Generate and view the results. Search by network name and open its details.

Designed to help you review records

For people who want to understand the Wi-Fi information saved on their own device or a device they are authorized to analyze. An anonymous sample lets you preview results without importing a real file.

These records are a system-saved snapshot, not a complete connection history. Known-network information may be affected by account syncing, system version and data retention. An added date is not necessarily the first connection, and a disconnection time alone cannot prove the device was at a particular place.

Wireless Trace does not extract coordinates, use location services or infer the physical location of a device or its user.

Current version: 1.0 · Requires iOS 17 or later. Diagnostic file structures and available fields may vary.
